Meet Our Staff
Marlen Jacobs, Hygienist
Marlen has been in the dental field since 1965. Her passion for preventive dentistry was born from working with a periodontist in Northern California. As a result of her experience in that practice, she returned to school to get her degree in dental hygiene. Her passion for helping patients keep their mouths healthy has been a driving force in her career. Additional advanced degree studies in psychology and clinical hypnotherapy have aided her in motivating patients to desire a higher degree of dental health while experiencing less anxiety.
Outside of work, Marlen is involved with her family which includes 5 sons and 8 grandchildren. She enjoys such gardening, crafts, sewing, photography, reading and enjoying the outdoors. Her involvement with church includes grief recovery especially for children. She and her beagles, are co-authoring a series of books helping children deal with difficult grief issues.
Jill Dugger, Dental Hygienist
Jill has lived in the Pacific Northwest for over 40 years. She grew up in Bellevue, attended Sammamish High School and went to the University of Washington. She got her dental hygiene training at Lake Washington Technical College and graduated in 2006. Jill loves making patients feel at ease in her chair and educating them about their oral health. Helping her patients achieve a great smile is what she loves! When she’s away from work, you can find her following her beloved Huskies or Major League Baseball, competing in rodeos riding one of her three horses or spending time with her Golden Retriever, River.
Sokpheap “Jade” Preap - Hygienist
Jade is from Southern California, she moved here the summer of 2022. She started her dental profession as an assistant, she did that for 5 yrs while she was getting her classes for hygiene school. She got her Bachelor from West Coast University in 2011 and has loved her hygiene career since then. One of the most rewarding parts of her job is building relationships with patients, and eventually everyone you see is like a friend.
Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, painting, wine tasting, exploring new places and spending time with friends and families. She loves puppies and has a 7-year-old husky named Porsha.
Wendy Lantz-Beach, Office Manager
Wendy Lantz-Beach currently resides in Bothell and has lived in Washington most of her life. Wendy has been in the dental industry for 20 years and has been with Dr. Lo since the summer of 2007. Wendy is very dedicated in helping all our patients with scheduling needs, insurance concerns, treatment planning and financial coordination. Basically, Wendy is our go-to-gal for patient relations as well as chief of trouble shooting computer issues.
Outside of the office, she spends time at home cooking for her son (Jordan) and husband (Joe) and then shares her leftovers with the whole team. Cooking is one of her passions along with party planning and social gatherings. Wendy is also passionate about animals. She rescued Morgan (her Lab/Pitt mix) from Rain City Rescue based in Georgia, where she was the Adoption Coordinator for 3 years. Since 2006, Wendy has been participating in the Breast Cancer 3-Day to raise awareness and to help find a cure for breast cancer.
